Sports Premium Grant:
Since 2013 the Government has provided additional funding to primary schools to improve provision of physical education (PE) and sport. This funding, provided jointly by the Departments for Education, Health and Culture, Media and Sport, will be allocated to primary school head teachers.
The funding is ring-fenced and therefore can only be spent on provision of PE and sport in school.
In 26-27 school has been allocated £8830. The Department for Education (DfE) is phasing out the traditional direct Primary PE and Sport Premium and replacing it with a new PE and School Sport Partnerships Network starting in Spring 2027
We pride ourselves in being committed to two hours of PE per week alongside the sixty active minutes during play times and lunch times. As well as our core PE offer we provide a range of after school clubs throughout the year and a heavily subsidised holiday club.
