Year 1 Autumn walk

Lesson: Geography

Class: Year 1 Year: 2018 - 2019

Year 1 went on their Autumn walk last week as part of our work in Science about how the seasons change over the year. This walk was particularly warm and we happened to find a ladybird invasion in the park which was very interesting! The children had to look out for different Autumn objects, such as conkers and acorns. When we arrived at the park, we drew a picture of a tree in Autumn and we will be returning over the different seasons to see if this tree looks different. We gathered some leaves and will be doing some leave rubbings in class. We had a lovely time and, as always, the children were impeccably behaved.
