Liverpool World Museum

Lesson: Science

Class: Year 5 Year: 2017 - 2018

On February 2018, Class 5 visited the World Museum in Liverpool.

The main purpose of the day was to visit the planetarium and hold a real meteorite, as well as pace out the length of the Black Knight rocket.

We also looked at the dinosaur exhibition and the Ancient History floor which included a fantastic exhibition about the Egyptians. There were real mummies in there as well as mummified creatures and other artefacts. Finally, we managed a quick look in the aquarium.

As an added bonus, we got a chance to have a sneek preview of the Terracotta Warriors, and 6 children were chosen to film for Newround.
