Aims of our school

 At Greenlands, we aim:

  • to provide a happy, caring and stimulating environment that encourages the development of each child's full potential
  • to extend our children's experiences, develop skills, enrich the spirit and imagination and promote understanding of themselves and the world in which they live
  • to encourage a sense of purpose and self-discipline that will enable each child to make a positive contribution to the school and to the community
  • to foster and maintain good home-school relationships
  • to promote high standards of learning across a broad and balanced curriculum
  • to recognise the special and particular needs of each child to ensure full and inclusive access to the National Curriculum and the life of the school
  • to foster qualities and values that prepare our children for the challenges of growing up in a complex, multi-cultural society.
