We will be learning all about rocks and fossils, the stone age and even create a dance routine to some rock and roll music. Look out for a recording of our performance!

Thank you for visiting Class 3’s page. We endeavour to ensure your children are excited to come to school each day and learn in an environment wherein they feel secure and happy.

You will find information on the class page, as well as photos of activities. Click the Year 3 Curriculum Map to find out what your children will be learning about throughout this important transition year into Juniors.

I look forward to meeting you all throughout the year.

Our current class novel is...

                                  Stig of the Dump
Clive King's Stig of the Dump is a much-loved modern classic. It is the story of Barney and his best friend, cave man Stig.

Other class novels we've read so far:

In Class 3, we use Class Dojo. This is a fantastic way to communicate with parents and children, reward behaviour and share achievements. Homework tasks can also be completed using this platform. I suppose it's a little bit like our school's Facebook page, except it's just about Year 3! All children have a special QR code to enable them to log onto their personal account.

I have invited all parents to register so that they're able to see what we get up to in class! If you have not received a text message, please contact school and let them know.
